Transparency Briefing

Data isn't a resource here. It's a responsibility.

We built Winetra for strategists. We treat your data with the same precision. This document outlines exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you remain in control.

Executive Summary

1. Minimal Collection

We only gather data essential to your experience—like account creation and gameplay analysis—with no hidden metadata harvesting.

2. User Control

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. This isn't a promise; it's a feature with a dedicated panel in your account.

3. Third-Party Limits

We do not sell data. External tools (like analytics) are vetted and anonymized to the point of uselessness for tracking individuals.

Personal Data

Your Identity as a Strategist

This isn't just your email. It's your playstyle, your preferred role, your historical win rates, and the teams you follow. We treat this as your unique tactical profile.

Pro Tip: You can toggle individual data points on/off in the 'Data Lab' section of your dashboard.
Processing

Turning Actions into Insight

Every click, every match analyzed, every strategy video watched. We process this to refine your recommendations, not to profile you for advertisers.

Constraint: Processing is done on anonymized clusters. Individual sessions are encrypted and not manually reviewed.
Lawful Basis

The "Why" We're Allowed to Act

For core features, it's 'Contractual Necessity'—we need your data to provide the service. For optional analytics, it's 'Explicit Consent' only.

Decision Point: If you deny consent, the site still works; you just lose personalized strategy suggestions.
Data Controller

Who Holds the Leash

Winetra Pro Ltd., registered in Turkey. We are responsible for the security and proper use of your data. Not our partners, not advertisers.

Role Scenario: A content creator (you) can request a full data export to analyze audience retention without platform lock-in.

1. The Data We Actually Collect

We categorize data by its function. No broad, undefined buckets. Here's the exact breakdown.

  • Account Data: Email, username, region (for server selection), purchase history. Required to create and maintain your strategic dashboard.
  • Gameplay Data: Match IDs, win/loss results, hero/role preferences, timestamps. Used to generate your performance trends and heatmap overlays.
  • Interaction Data: Which guides you read, videos you watch, features you use. Helps us prioritize development (e.g., if 80% of you use the 'VOD Review' tool, we improve it).

Visual Note: Raw gameplay data is processed in anonymized clusters. Individual profiles are never sent to third-party analytics services.

2. Purpose-Driven Processing

Every data point has a job. If it can't explain its value to your experience, it gets cut.

Personalization (Not Profiling)

Your hero preferences directly influence which advanced guides are featured on your home feed. We don't build a 'shadow profile' to sell.

Service Improvement

Anonymous session data helps us identify bugs. If 100 users crash on the 'VOD upload' screen, we know to fix it before the next patch.

Communication

We use your email only for critical service updates (e.g., 'Your Data Export is Ready') and never for promotional newsletters unless you opt-in.

You Hold the Controller

These rights aren't theoretical—they're tools in your account dashboard. Each has a direct button.

Right to Access

Download a complete archive of your gameplay data, settings, and activity logs.

Right to Rectify

Correct any account details or gameplay records that may have been mislogged.

Right to Erasure

Delete your account and all associated data. This process is automated and irreversible.

Right to Restrict

Pause all data processing (except legal obligations). Your profile becomes read-only.

Exercise these via the 'Privacy' tab in your account settings. Requests are processed within 30 days, typically much faster.
